    Looks pretty decent to me mate! Cant be much wrong with it after all its just an aluminium box with some silicone pipes! You'll get best results if its gets mapped in, i had a bit of a power issue with my airtec one before it got mapped in!

      How does a more efficent intercooler get mapped in? Wouldnt the map already contain the correct parameters for intake temps and density at a given pressure?

        Can only presume it will have a bigger surface area inside so the boost pressure will drop. Apparently some people have just put them on and it worked fine but my car didnt like it for some reason. You always get better results from hardware if it gets mapped in

          The TX intercooler has been reviewed before - pretty sure by WGM comparing it to the likes of airtec.

          Its marginally better than the standard intercooler but not enough to warrant almost £300! Their intercoolers are just universal ones anyway, which can be had for around £100, bundled with some pipes to suit and maybe the odd bracket welded on. If you don't believe me see their ebay advert for the same kit where they've instantly knocked off £75 quid;

          https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-...998efaebdc205e

          That shows you its not worth the price on their website and even at the ebay price they're probably still making a hefty markup.

          If i were you i'd either;

          a) cough up for an airtec which is considered the best by virtually everyone
          or
          b) wait for a used airtec/eds/blizzard intercooler to come up on ebay (they frequently do, for usually £200 quid or so)
          or
          c) Don't bother and spend the money elsewhere
