  • Old oil relationship to power?

    Just curious how these corsa vxr's behave at the top end? Has anyone read data on the acceleration/speed between 100 - 140 and is there any noticeable flat spot around the 120 mark?

    standard its was very slow past 120, just seemed to stop pulling would have taken ages to get to max speed. once mapped car pulls easily all the way to 140. sooooooo much better, power in 6th gear is amazin compared to standard. havnt got any time though...

    private runways of course

          I've noticed that it pretty much tops at 120, not accelerating past without a long run...

          I was mroe impressed with the ease of getting there once warmed up... 4th gear @ 6k = 100mph

                    Thanks for the replies chaps, hmmm cruise control acceleration, you mean hold the twist nob, not tried this.

                    So another question where can I try to max out without the fear of loosing my license? Snetterton is a fast track, anyone been on that track with factory settings and got to top speed?

                    Cheers
