When I looked initially at buying a VXR, I was offered a servicing package for approx £ 30 per mth which includes all servicing costs , 4 sets of tyres over the 3yr period plus 1st MOT free iirc

There are 2 separate packages on offer. The one you were offered at around £30 per month covers maintenance in addition to service. In other words it covers things like tyres, brakes, clutches etc.

The Service plan at around £15 per month is cheaper because it just covers the scheduled service items. If you need anything extra doing like new tyres or brake pads you pay for these separately but the service itself is covered by the plan.

Both are a good way to avoid the one off bill at service time.

I don't think VXRs are excluded and I believe they are the same price.

I'd get mine serviced @ a preferred tuner

How does that work out (warranty wise)?

or is your cars warranty over already?

Car can be serviced anywhere as long as genuine vx parts are used without invalidating the warrenty

                      Ahhhh I see.

By the way I was on the Now Vx website last night.

The site gave me an online service quote of £250 :|

I received a letter a week or so ago from Now Vauxhall.... They said they could beat any other price out there..... Surely, £250 isnt the best price?

                        Which service is it? 1st, 2nd, 3rd?

VX just quoted me £190 for my 2nd service but going to ring a few places first.
