  • Bluefin remap

hi all. i have the vxr racing edition. 2 weeks old. remus fitted. just brought the bluefin from superchips. any idea of expected increase in bhp etc? also, do i need to upgrade the spark plugs or anything else to cope with the re-map? hoping to do the re-map tomorrow or tuesday. cheers, hazy.

As vxrmarc says standard plugs are more than fine - they are platinum plugs as standard and dont need to be upgraded.

In fact NGK or Denso dont actually list a specific plug for the Corsa and the NGK sales rep advised me not to change mine.

When the car was originaly mapped the plugs were changed to Iridiums and after a few months the car wasnt running right, plugs were swapped back to standard and its been fine ever since.

Like the above said plugs will be fine, you be looking around 225 bhp running the map and remus.

As above - with Iridiums my car had rough / flat spots at certain revs. like a stutter in the power.

id recommend a diff to harness the power! if money is short springs! get the chassis sorted then continue with the power mate
