    hi. i recently purchased prosport boost gauge and oil temperature gauge. not knowing that you cant fit the oil temperature gauge without drilling the sump. can anyone tell me the next best gauge to get other than oil temperature gauge. cheers

    mate cant you get the sandwhich place that goes between the oil filter an the oil pump? thats how alot of people do it on the astra vxrs

      i emailed mpg. and they said the only way to do it is to drill the sump. and it will probably affect the warranty :-S

        only on the part that you alter, so if anything came at fault an it was down to the sump they woundnt cover it under warrenty...

        random guess here but are the sumps on the vxr the same as all the other models of corsa.
        sure you sould be able to pick a second hand one up for cheap.

          u dont need drill the sump u get the sandwhich plate that goes between your engine and oil filter to house the sender im doing it on my astra at the mo u can get the sandwhich plate of prosports site

              can u link me to the plate you are talking about please ? was going to tap my sump this weekend as i thought it was the only option !

                heres the link mate http://prosportgauges.com/oil-filter-adaptor-plate.aspx i just picked the m20 one because u dont need that thred your replace it with a new thread from a place called raceparts just ring them up and say u need part No- mo 112/B

                      excellent, defo better than tapping the sump anyone did it this way with no complaints on the corsa ?
