Painting Diffuser

Who has done this and how hard is it? Further to that, what colour is best!?!

I was thinking a satin silver to match the fog surrounds but then not sure as i might go sapphire black to match a potential new grille in same?

i saw someone selling one either wrapped in carbon or was entirely carbon but cant find it now! was gonne get mine sprayed black but think carbon maybe cool
