I've tried...really tried!

....to be upbeat and positive about my Corsa VXR but after my latest visit to the main dealer I am finding it increasingly difficult. In my 6 months of ownership my car has been to the garage more times that I care to mention for diagnosis and repair.

Wheel bearings (of course!)
radiator
aircon pipes
abs recall
electric window regulators
gearbox cables
exhaust alignment
And now the latest....rear suspension bushes!

It feels like VX is giving me a new car in 100 frustrating weekly installments. Whoever is responsible for Corsa VXR quality control should not just be sacked, they should be shot for gross incompetence! Unless matters improve I would have to either be a masochist or an idiot to keep this car after the warranty expires. (Rant over)

What year is the car mate, and what mileage have you covered? Seems like a lot of problems even for these cars.

Boost solanoid x2
Rear wheel Bearings
Creeking Passenger side window
Cracked Wingmirror
Wingmirror repainted (after the replaced one was crap)

And now got a noise i cant quite put my finger on.

I know how your feeling, as soon as i got the car i was excited as but over the past year i just feel annoyed more then anything else. To drive the car is awesome and yea i love it to pieces but it does try to annoy me when it wants to it.

Go into your local dealer mate and ask they will check there system if your car is effected

i think the corsa is like an alfa its a pain but also a great drive at the same time.

sorry to hear that mate, you have had alot of problems but if you really like the car, keep it, like you said get shot before the warrenty runs out!

btw abs recall is that for a certain year?

My front bushes went, lowering on springs doesnt help at all.

my rear suspension is always creeking, especially over low speeds and small bumps, suspected bushes and got the dealer to cheack and they couldnt find anything may take to another dealer now u have had this problem. what speed dose your creek at, your help would be appricheated just dont want the same problem. regards jimmy
