  • question about intercooler and header tank

if you fit the forge intercooler with the metal piping does this mean you cant fit a dump valve?

bottom picture. the metal hose is the same one the dump valve would normally fit to?

any what do people think of this/has anyone fitted one. Any pictures -

dc44, do you experience any problems with the dv?

Any error codes? boost leak? loss in power etc?

Did you have to block off your internal DV?

i did when i first fitted it, it went into limp mode. i sorted the problem out by putting a stronger spring in it and that sorted out the problem.

but when i fitted the forge diverter valve it went back into limp mode again so took it off and it picked up a lot better without the DV. i would recommend a forge diverter valve.

i have put the DV back ever since i have had my car remapped, seems to be fine no problems. not sure if i am going to keep it or take it off yet havent made up my mind

and no my internal DV has not been blocked.
