          cheers for that link
there is a lot more that i though options wise
like the idea of having 240v in the car

configured mine and end up with
Final RRP (incl. VAT) £ 39,435.00 (somehow)

now i know the full RRP i can work with that
i know if i trade mine in with the dealer i can get about £1K - £1.2K off the insignia and i wouldnt have to bother re-registering mine withth dvla for sale (lots of hassle, btw)
would have to see what they would give for for it though

what i need to ask is do you recommend the insignia over an astra
been looking at the sports tourer purely because the hatch back looks like it has the same problem as the astra, nice size boot but a small bootlid

not sure whether i should sell mine
will it hold value being a burg, or is the new once going knock these down the market?

does an owner recommend them as good day to day

I drove a tourer round knockhill and all I can say is, wow
It's an amazing beast, nice and big, plenty of grunt, and handles like its on rails, really has to be seen to be believed mate,
I had the read end twitching, but going into corners at 60+ tends to do this lol, the 4x4 system kicks in and holds you straight

What relevance does your post have to this thread?

What would you suggest he buys then? The insignia is a steal its very well built, and I guarantee you can't get a car near to this spec for 40k

might have to enquire on prices/trade in

How big a bootlid do you need? What are you trying to put in?

Day to day it's perfect in every way, apart from it's love of Momentum 99. If you're going to have any sort of fun in it, you'll be looking at 24mpg max. My last tank averaged 20.6mpg.

iv got a missus and 2 kids (not they dont go in the boot.lol)

but i need room for the pushchair everyday
and we travel accross europe a fair bit, holidays etc
and i move house roughly every 3years (due to work) and the removels arent always on time, would be nice to have enough to get by for a bit in the boot

should have seen me trying to get the new tv & blu-ray home theatre in my passat (what a crap saloon)
oh and the missus love to shop
