[New Car / Progress Thread]Finally....My Insignia VXR
I was looking for everything they offer really (engine and suspension if they off the lot, they haven't confirmed yet), not checked recently but they were still building Insignia specific ones, tooling was being built etc.

Front lower are bushes are the same as the Astra vxr I have them on mine the anti-roll bar bushes I macked up by size

Both the cars headlights stopped working, only the AFL 'moving eye' element.
The daytime LED's, indicators etc were all fine, it was just the main beam / headlight at night which failed on both left and right sides.
Turns out these let in moisture over time, and there is a small set of wholes / gaps between the ballast connecting module and the underside of the headlight itself. Water has gathered and blown the ballast / stopped it from working.
When we took it apart, we pushed air into the ballast and a load of water came gushing out. You could shake it and hear all the water that was there.
We applied black moisture resistant sealant into and around the rectangle block connector and the small gaps we could see using an LED light, this shouldn't happen again. Seems like a design fault to me, as both went a month apart from each other.
I had to replace both ballasts and a fuse to get them working again.
I see this thread has been inactive for a year but you never know im happy theres a decent thread on the insignia, I'm looking for one just now just so torn between white and arden. Is it true that you can only run high 300s with standard turbo and injectors? as thorney quote over 400 with an intercooler, downpipes, exhaust and air filter.

Mines running a hybrid turbo and im about 380 - 390, though a lot depends on the turbo and mapping.
