Any of you have soot on the bottom edge of the tailpipe?

Yes mine does, but it cleans off really easy.

I've found that all the petrol cars I've had that have a chrome tailpipes have always always sooted up, the BMW Mini Cooper was the worst but at least you could remove it off the car to wash it.

From running rich. Don't let it sit too long though. It'll keep building up and then it's a pain.

Get some Brasso Duraglit Metal Polish from tesco, Aussie recommended this to me and works a treat on your shiney bits.

I've found Harley-Davidson bike shops to have a HUGE selection of chrome and aluminum cleaners.
