strange noise update

did the cam belt today had a good look around and it all looked ok checked all the parts removed there was a little grease seepage from the cam belt roller but nothin major

until i checked the cam cover and found this

so fingers crossed no more noise you boys might wana check yours cos the edge of the cam belt had started to fray

i would mate for the sake of two bolt and five mins worth it aswell if you can take a look at your cambelt roller for signs of grease leeking cos its half way to failing and thats guna be expensive

which 1's the cambelt roller dude and what type of grease would be best for the job?

if you look at my first pic its the one on the right hand side and it need to be replaced cos they are a sealed unit have you done ya cambelt ?

nope, never done a cambelt

very simple mate if that roller has grease on the face of it then it needs changing sharpish so you might aswell do the cambelt whilst changin the roller i paid £91 for the belt tensioner and roller £140 at vaux.
