Insurance quotes.. Please help me.

For some crazy reason the insurance on my car has shot up this year..

last year i paid £870 fully comp with 8years NCB
im 28 and live in a pretty good area

This year Admiral want a renewal price of £1750 !!!! WTF !
so i have done the usual (Go Compare, Confused etc etc) and the best i can find is £1200

who have you gone through and why the hell are the premiums so high this year ??

same happened to me last renewal, direct line was £525..on renewal they wanted £980. cheerio i said....the cheek of it.

another guy had same problem last week i told hit to try elephant and they save him a god feww £100 so i wuld give them a try..

also sometimes cheeper to park car on street not ur drive or garrage as more are stolen frm driveways

It might be worth a try. They been giving some pretty fair deals recently with a lot of people I know.

Im insured with them on my Monaro VXR500 .... £1750,

I know that sounds a lot but I've only been driving 3 years with only 2 years no claims. and most other insurance companies wanted £3-5k

I got a deal @ £1100 pa with Sky Insurance. 25yo 2yr NCB on a VXR8. Gotta be happy.

Sky gave me the best quote this year £890, greenlight insurance are good my quote was £950. A plan said they dont like mods to me and I should try adrian flux, the best quote they could give me was £2300 lol. And I'm 34 with five years no claims.
