Considering replacing the VX badges on my 59 LS3 Evoke with the HSV ones (from Walkinshaw).

Any hints or tips (and negative experiences?) on removing the VX ones and any views on what it might do to longer term value?

Loads have done the same, and I doubt it will affect value at all.

To get the badges off, use a bit of dental floss to 'saw' through the foam backing, peel off the foam left on the car, then clean the adhesive off with a bit of polish.

If it comes to it, you can always strip the badges off again when you sell.

If you heat up the badge wit a hair dryer before sliding the floss behind the badge it becomes a whole lot easier.

Lots of folk remove them. I'm expecting it to devalue the car in twenty years time. I might buy some spares now, in case.
