  • Knobs at NCP valet parking, Stansted

As above, had the car valet parked (lots of reasons why) at Stansted for a week by NCP, anyhow the knobs managed to run it up a kerb and backed it off in panic, hence ripped the front nearside front skirt fixings through the bodywork.............

I didn't notice it until the next morning as I picked it up late Friday night and it was dark.

Quick phonecall, followed by letter, a quote by my local VXR specialist, and they have accepted full liability, so the car goes in for a new bumper and undertray on Sat for a week..............opportunity to get the wheels refurbished at the same time, graphite wheels coming up.

and I get to have a courtesy car from the insurers for the duration mines in being fixed...................they have offered the new shape M3, so I said "oh go on then"

piccies of the car when fixed and wheels refurbished will be posted

Not mine (I wish), but NCP's insurers, as they take full liability when taking the car to park

Did you check the drop off/pick up mileage?

Unless they reset it once they've done.... always best to note the actual Odometer reading.... and fuel gauge

WOOPS.They did it again.Earlier this year they wrote off an M3CSL and a brand new JAGUAR XKR.Having a RACE in the customers cars. They managed to do it less than 400mtrs from the terminal,on the way to where ever they "park" them. They managed to wreck one of the electronic advertising boards as well.Needless to say the drivers were sacked on the spot.
At least yours is still in one piece BOB.

Yep, 4 miles the first time, a week later 5 miles and 2 gallons of fuel, which says they thrashed it and on a cold engine

Compensation is still being discussed with NCP over the "thrashing" of a cold engine and lack of care

And if you worked there, you wouldn't have a quick go with anything half nice?

Yea but treat their car with the respect you give your car.

Its like the saying treat other people how you would want to be treated yourself!

I agree with what you've said, but face it, these people don't care about your car do they, they do it because they think they can get away with it. Its not their car is it....

Wrong attitude I know, but I bet its what they are thinking.

I'm just thinking of me driving part exchanges... luckily they belong to no-one, but the cars were abused... just because we could! And the scrap cars we had... those didn't go to scrap with a single straight panel on!
