Just ordered some new plugs and leads from monkfish as I will be servicing the family saloon on Saturday.

I also did a full 4 wheel alignment yesterday including adjusting the camber, as it was out in a couple of places.

Yesterday I fitted the new spark plugs along with some new competition magnacore spark plug leads.

I half expected some of the original AC delco leads to break up due to being there for 5 years, they all came off with out falling apart.

2 weeks ago I found out I needed a new ns rear wheel bearing, so it was onto the phone to call Dave at Walkinshaw performance for a new rear wheel bearing and hub nut.

Not only did they have the items in stock I had them delivered to me the very next day, 10/10 for the top quality service.

I have now fitted the bearing and all is back to normal again, had a slight wobble as I was thinking of selling up. I have decided that I am keeping the car now that I am enjoying it again.

I just need to get HP tuners ordered before thunder road now and maybe a new set of rear boots, as I am up to 15k on this set.

I only got 12500 miles out of a set of boots on the J VXR.

A little update on progress so far, 2 new rear tyres fitted Bridestone potenza S001 and I have gone to 285/30/20 now.

Also replaced the front shocker top mounts and bearings to Pedders. What a difference this has made, the car is now ready for the Scotland trip and thunder road.

Last but not least it has had the 5k oil and filter service done.

Just glad that I can do all this myself, saves me a packet.

                      • As you all know by now this sold in August last year and I thought I would miss it.

                        I only miss the power.

Still I have had one and it's on to the next one.
