  • Just for fun

Hi Guys... this is my first post on this forum...

But just for fun, I upgraded my Vectra SRi 1.9 CDTi into a VXR look-a-like, as I still need the economy of a Diesel.

Thought you might like to see it..

It is cheating a little bit

At least I have one foot in the VXR camp now... maybe I'll take a total leap of faith when the next generation arrives..

I love the way VX have designed the VXR though, which is what inspired me to upgrade my poor old Diesel... (but its still quick though, with some tweeking !!)

Oh well, back to my 45mpg VXRD then......

Probably so make sure you stay to the side rather behind, as he pulls away from you

Thanks Mate, lot of time went into speccing it out... Brakes next, and then leather interior.. then thats it.. Run it around till 2008 and buy the new shape Vec-D VXR

It has to be said that it's time well spent as you've done a good job of the conversion - nice and shiny too

Two years is sometime to wait, think you can hold?

Spoons has the 2nd Vectra VXR 'D' I did mine a while ago, we both have good taste in Vectra's!!!

I opted for the 888 re-map though over the tuning box.

Nice, hopefully we'll see more conv's like this as I think it really makes the Vectra look much better. The standard Vecci is ok but verging on a little bland in my op, but with the VXR kits it looks much better.

Not bad at all, quite like the personal plates - how much did they cost?
