Arrghh, it's even the right colour. What does it sound like? What's the handling like? Tell me more!

Do you care about your missing Alloy Pedals, or not?

      Dave,

No not bothered about the pedals, they'll soon scuff and look ***** anyway and the side badges would have been in the wrong font aswell.

I must say when I started it up it sounded superb, even the driver of the transporter said what a great sound it had. Roll on registration number....

          Not bothered about the pedals.

I've driven a 06 plate saloon and a 06 plate estate. The 06 saloon was much 'rortier' (IMO I'd say it was TOO noisey inside) than the 06 estate and I'd say this new 07 one seems relatively quiet though it still sounds superb outside!

Since it's only done 200 miles the engine feels pretty tight so hard to say if there's a noticable difference in performance.

Similarly with the handling - dosen't feel a lot different to me at this early stage. One thing I did notice is that the suspension still clunks and knocks when the car's driven on rough surfaces - just like the previous version.

I'll post more in a day or so when I've put a few miles on...North Wales for a run out tomorrow!

Blimey the colour saturation on your pics, the red is blinding....

Weather looks a bit crap for tomorrow, hope you have a good day.

PM me if you want to stop by on way along the M54...

Wow. I normally have silver cars, but if I had bought another silver car, the wife would have used the rolling pin, and not for pastry.

Prefer the blue, but the red does look fantastic too, especially with those 19"s !

Now who is for the 340bhp version then? Also wayne, any chance on getting the part number from the exhaust?, as I want to see if they differ.

Ah now if you asked me yesterday, I could have had a look at the sticker on the exhaust just in between the rear wheels on one of my pictures... :?

Yup, count me in, provided you can fit 4WD to get the power down...

Don't think 4WD in the current model is a goes but you never know this engine may have even more to give. From discussion in the past the engine does not suffer greatly with heat problems and just keeps on going and going time after time.
