  • Vectra Z28NET engine dimensions

Can anyone out there tell me the dimensions of the Z28NET engine?
I know it's a big ask but I was hoping someone could measure it for me.
I need the overall height (lowest point to highest point)
    width of block (with pulleys)
depth of head (at widest point)
depth of block (at bottom of block)
length, height & width of gearbox (at widest points)
relative position of the drive shaft outputs (in relation to bottom of the engine and end of engine block)

Any or all of these measurements would be a great help.

Also, anyone know any info on the gear change mechanism. I heard it is cable based rather than rod based, is that correct?

    Thanks

    Marek

Nice...Try Jon at Courtneay's he should be able to help...if not give you a hand.

This will be immense if you do it...tight but worthwhile....soooo much power it'd do wheelies!

Gee, that will be cool. It will flip if you get the 340 version!!!

Getting some of the info will really need you to have it in the air.

I'll see what I can get to the nearest.

Yes the box is cable but also hydraulic clutch. You may well need to insatll he F40 box associated with this engine (mainly the bell housing fittement varys).

what is this 360 version? Is there really a 360hp version or is that a aftermarket tuned up figure?
