By far the best car I have enjoyed owning!!!

Well,

1) I am now doing a lot more miles per week and therefore go through in excess of a tank a week
2) Happily we are expecting our second child so looking to make some savings so we can change the wifes motor (got our eyes on focus c-max)

I simply cannot justify running the vxr despite it being the BEST car I've owned, also the price I'm getting in trade.

Rest assured though, I intend to be back in one in 2-3 years - thats how much I've enjoyed it.

Despite the sometimes bad press, I am moving into a diesel vectra and will remain on the forum, possibly looking out for a tuning box.

Yeah, take your point, but only looking to spend about 6k - unfortunately not seen any zaf vxrs for this but have seen a couple of gsi's. Wife thinks the zaf will be too big so really favours the c-max

lol, i got my mrs a 7 seat megane scenic and i kept my vxr.... the megane is a 1.6 and cheap to run and its a good drive too, something to think about mate...
