  • My rolling road results

    Well im a happy bunny with my results, so here you are

    First run was on 97 ron petrol, only mod is ITG air filter.

    Engine power [email protected]/5024
    wheel power [email protected]/5024
    power losses [email protected]/5024
    engine power [email protected]/5024
    torque corrected..................290lbs/[email protected]
    pressure/temp standard.........993mBar/ 14 deg c

    Second run was done on LPG.

    Engine power [email protected]/5412
    wheel power [email protected]/5412
    power losses [email protected]/5412
    Engine power [email protected]/5412
    torque corrected..................280lbs/[email protected]
    pressure/temp standard.........993mBar/ 14 deg C.

    So all is running well and not to much losses running on LPG compared to standard.

    the figures for running LPG look good mate bet your pleased with them numbers

      Over the moon with all the figures, you can feel that the car aint so quick on lpg but the losses werent as bad as i first thought they would be.

              I suppose with LPG its all down to availability when on a run or is it freely avail where you go as I dont see it much around here ?

                its not readily available down here i have to drive 5 miles to cornwall to get it myself, not long filled up on it and doing tests to see distance with it.

                Still happy i dont lose to much performance with it.

                        Yes it is bud, wouldnt be happy if it were the 280 lol, but standard 252 and come out just above standard with just air filter im pretty happy, another vxr(255 model) only made 244bhp with 292lbs.

                            Out of interest who did you LPG conversion mate? As I'd been told on here or another forum (can't remember which) that you can't run a VXR on LPG so I've been fascinated by yours, and with them figures, it might well be worth a punt for 1/2 price fuel..

                            I've seen conversion prices on German Ebay for about £3.5 -£4K (too much)
