    Just read the "How to change gearbox oil" in Astra section...... is it the exact same step by step guide for the Zafira

    Yes, it will be the same procedure - same engine and gearbox.

      Cheers for quick reply.......Looks a very easy job to do + GM gearbox oil is only just over a £5 per ltr......good times

        Well, I got some oil of opeil oil. I spoke to the parts person at my local dealer and he said, although it is a vxr model, the gm recommended oil is just the same as ALL other models. Paid just under 50 notes for 3 litre but its fully syn, .

        vxro member get 10% discount and i think there is still a further 15% discount, not bad, .

            Most people on here go for 75w90, which is also what I got. Well, its something that you dont need to get done every often - maybe once every 40-50k miles, my loigc is, use the best I can afford, .

            BTW, vx says the gearbox is a non-serviceable item, however, my haynes manual suggests gearbox (M32) oil to be changed at a certain miles interval, so, the choice is yours.

              fuchs titan sintofluid from opie oils thats what I put in mine as the gears were realy stiff mainly from cold and very hard to get into first gear! 33 quid delivered problem solved tel 01209 215164.opie oils

                  Id highly reccomend Royal purple synchromax if you dont have an lsd fitted
