PM jalfrezigazze - He's very knowledgeable about the LPG side of things, although I'm sure there are a few others too.

Hi,cheers for the info,i am based in Kendal in cumbria.i believe the back box has to be re routed,is that corect ???? i know a dealer in morecambe who do the power flow exhausts and i could get that done at reasonable money as they sponsor my mate with his rally car.

lpg by me is 51p per litre. keep the car 5 years I will save £0,000s

Yes you will probably need the exhaust rerouted as the tank will probably be a 50 or 60 litre tank.

            Heres Mine:-

HINT :- If getting the PRINS conversion you must get the brown injectors. Yellows are not up to the job, makes the car run lean at full throttle.

cheers for that, any help is much appreciated as i hear horror stories about some conversions,i have talked to a bloke locally who said that he tried to get thr PRINS conversion but everybody who he talked to would not entertain it because of the exhaust problems.

My only other option was to get a custom exhaust made by Power Flow or Pro Speed at a cost of £400 ish.

You could always remove the offside outlet and just put a dummy in its place.

You can see from the pics posted that the exhaust pipe is just heated up and twisted upwards to allow space for the tank.

You must point out that you need the brown injectors for this conversion.

you can fit the Milltek from the Zafira GSi with a left exit then get a false tail pipe only for the drivers side, will also make more power than using the proper VXR exhaust too.

Prins every time, brown injectors. I will be working in Barrow in the new year so could pop over to see you if you like

Also ensure that the tank fitted is not too large, there must be a minimum of 250mm under the car or you will not be covereed in an insurance claim.

When the car is converted it needs to go straight on a rolling road with a gas analyser to make sure that the engine is not running rich or lean at all

Also I would recommend getting the lead and software to talk with the gas system from ebay

best £40 I have spent on my motors

and finally for now this is the thread I strted when my Astra was done
                  http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/sho...ght=conversion

Also run a Zaffy GSi on gas that has now covered 124k on gas
sigpicAstra VXR Stage 2, 279.7bhp Petrol, 292.0 bhp LPG
Zafira 222 BHP LPG (stage 1), 295 Petrol (stage 3)

Need any stainless bolts for your rocker cover or anywhere else on your motor? PM for a good price
