  • Nice and shiny

    Hi all,

Gave the old gal abit of a clean today with winter setting in. Started with the 2 bucket method, clay, was again, dry, Autoglym paint sealant (waiting for jetseal), mirror shine glaze and two coates of Petes 53 wax. Wheels washed twice and given a coat of Petes 53 also. Heres some pics:

Cheers guys, cant wait to get my proper car cleaning kit at christmas (machine polisher and other goodies) and have a blast at her - once ive been tutored in the proper use of the equipment. I spent all day cleaning it and been out tonight and as its been raining will no doubt be just as dirty again, but i love giving it a clean and the end result and its all protection i suppose.

Cheers marc, means alot coming from yourself, just need the machine polisher to get rid of the 'orange peel' effect and it drives me nuts! - Again, once ive had the proper tuition!

Jay you wont get rid of the orange peel unless you get into wet sanding so live with that , some orange peel is even under the clearcoat so its just impossible.
