What an amazing morning I had at Snetterton on Wednesday in the race prep Corsa. Totally amazing to walk up to a car with your own name stuck on the window just like being in the BTCC! Suddenly, I was a racing hero! Well, I say that but then ex BTCC racer Alan Blencow pointed out in the 3 hour session that I needed to 'Turn in and brake at Russell more', 'Get closer to the drain at the bomb hole', 'keep the power constant at Coram curve' ... okay ... so there were quite a few points to work on but by the end of it 'I'd passed the driving part for my MSA national B race licence.
The most amazing thing was – I'd only spent £199! Take a look anywhere and see how much a package like that would normally cost ... Vauhall does it again. Thanks to Dougie and all the rest of the team for the fab event - if you are not booked at anything else you have to get to the Silverstone event next month. If you don't, I'd wonder why you own a VXR in the first place! Nuff said
