If so take it off and place cloths around it to catch the brake fluid, unless you have a siringe.
You could also do with a special clamp/device for forcing pistons back into calipers

Unscrew the cap from the main reso tank in the engine bay, put a bit of cloth over top to catch any break fluid, as when you push the brake cylinder back some fluid will overflow, without the cap unscrewed there is a pressure build up when you try to push the cylinder back
EDIT : R15VXR beat me too it.sigpic

we have undone the bleed nipple on the calliper to let it out there and we have the res cap off and does anyone know if the piston rotates back into the housing ???STAGE 6Courtenay intercooler, Quaife lsd, 3" exhaust, Percys tophat, gt28/68 hta, custom made parts, Whiteline rarb, DAP springs, Courtenay 16 grove discs, Mintex M1144 pads, stainless braided hoses, brake cooling ducts, 5.1 dot fluid, Insignia washer jets. over400bhp and 400f/lbs Courtenay tuned.
