  • How do you clean your alloys

    Start with one dirty wheel

What I use ... my new blue brush ... from Halfrauds ..

    Bit of a scrub ..

    Clean suds ...

All clean and set for another 250 miles ...

I must say, i didn't think they looked that bad from the first photo. The last photo shows they come up really well!

The Vectra does chuck out a lot of brake dust, but in fairness the car has superb braking power.

I use Meguiars Hot Rims ... spray on - leave 15 seconds - jet setting on garden hose = clean shiny rims....
I will be taking the wheels off soon to clean the inside properly.
Then trying AutoGlym Alloy Wheel Sealer which should help make it easier to clean
tuner talk: "Just get out and drive the damn things !!!"
The truth is out there ...

i just use the normal wash shampoo and an old sponge. then i use the Diamoan brite Conserver in a bucket of water and wash over them its like a sealer kind of.

i dont want to use any of the wheel cleaning acid sprays as they eat away at the lacour.

been looking for a non acid citrus claener.

would also like to know if the sealer works.
