Is it possible to put a 1.2 corsa lump in the 1.4 mk4 astra?

As I'm looking to buy a engineless astra (rest of car is minted) for a steal price of 200 squids

    Any advice

Would I need to do ECU changes?

As I'd rather put a 1.2 in for insurance purposes

wouldnt it be still a modified astra therefore more to insure anyway? in theory yes a 1.2 would go in but be far more straight forward to get a 1.4 imo

Opel seem to do things alot differently, as you can get a 1.6 regular corsa here and Opel don't call the astra coupe an astra, it's just the Opel Coupe lol

And the OPC's have minor differences to VXR's like with exhaust positions ect

Living in Germany has made me realise this lol
