yep it goes to the blue and black side make sure you turn the electric off firstSTAGE 6

No had the whole bathroom done today. Its still fresh so its still quite dark. Ill have to wait a while before I start painting.

The Brown cables I think are for the light and the fan extractor which I had fitted to work off the light switch.

Fitted the cable back and all working fine. And not blown myself or the house up. lolComment

The cables on the pendant are brown as either could be live - it can be fitted either way around. Our last house was a new build and all of the pendants had two black wires (which makes less sense but there you go). Nothing wrong with that at all.Nova 1.6 16v TB's DTA 1/4mile 14.8sComment

Red or brown means live!
Black or blue means neutral
Green/yellow or green means earth.....
Easy mate!
But a blue or black cable with red or brown sleeving in it will be a switch wire
