what to buy??

as you may know im selling up and moving on its very sad. but on a brighter note iv enjoyed my burg immensely its been a fantastic car and its been the best two years of my motoring life, and hats off to VX for making such a great car... however i now need to find a worthy replacement, i need a diesel and something economic and im looking at not spending anything more than i have now so i guess my budget is around 10-11k any ideas?? im swayed towards A3 diesels but there quite expensive for what you get really

i think astra diesels in general are great cars and are good value for money, especially the 888 however i would never go from a high spec vxr like mine to a diesel it would remind me everyday about how great my car was, i need to move on or stick with what iv got!

335d does about 29mpg . . . . be better off with the vxr .... remap might see 34mpg tho ...

Should be decent MPG as long as you dont whore it all the time after a Remap? otherwise probably go BMW 535d or something?

535d aint as eco as you think bud, twin turbos, only gets 28mpg tops until mapped, when it might see 34 at a push ....
