Who owns a track car?

As title, does anyone own/run a dedicated track car as well as their VXR?

...and has anyone been to do track days?

I'm doing my first track day with my friend sometime next month in his BMW track car and really looking forward to it. I've said that if I really enjoy it, and I mean really enjoy it, I'd consider selling the VXR and getting a 1.2 litre Corsa + a road legal track car.

You could find a happy medium, back seats out and decent fast road/track set up.

Wouldn't be that expensive for you really. You've already got decent power

- decent set up coilovers

All that and a bit of tuition should see you right Pel. Be a lot cheaper than a new car as well!

Not as of yet but will have. Got given a Corsa B as the Neighbour thought the Head Gasket had gone, Thermostat and a set of Spark Plugs fixed it lol and has been great for the 3000 miles I have done in it with it not missing a beat and still happily revs to 6000 after 105000 miles. Anyway I have a X20XEV engine for it waiting to be rebuilt, F20 Gearbox in my Outhouse and the car will be fully stripped out and used as a track toy. Cannot wait to get it done as I don't want to risk the VXR.
