I know regal have mixed reviews on there mapping and dyno but has anybody had any problems with them fitting parts like brakes ect

I'm going to be ordering some new brake pads and hoses but none of the garages my way are willing to fit them unless I buy the parts direct from them.....

I tried Vauxhall and they said they would only fit the parts they sell

    Thanks

Yes I found it strange too, they want to supply the parts themselves, but it's much cheaper if I pay the bits so I don't want to pay there price when I can get them a lot cheaper, I asked them to match the price but they wont

Just phone them up again act as a new customer and say how much for fitting pads/hoses but parts supplied. They can fit they just won't warrant parts as they are not supplied by them. Or just go regal

              Regal autosport

Tbh, I generally use my local normal independent garage to fit most stuff. Things like hoses and brakes are basic stuff for people who work on cars all day.

I had my cambelt done recently along with new rocker gaskets and rocker cover and gear oil change etc.

They also done my RARB and zaust.

At the end of the day these aren't difficult cars to work on so i'd ring a few indies up and get some quote before making the trip to a specialist as it really isn't necessary.

Also indies will fit parts you buy as you are putting cash in their hands

I also had the problem of alot of garages saying no to fitting the miltek i bought for my golf. Same reasons you have been given they needed to supply the parts themselves. Im sure you wont have a problem with regal if there the closest garage to you.
