  • Need help with Sony Camcorder!

    Hi guys,

    I have the:

    Sony® Handycam™
    DCRSR46, 40 GB HDD
    Digital Camcorder
    with Carry Bag
    2.7-in. LCD Screen
    40x Optical Zoom

But i want to add some bullet cameras to it, and i dont know were to get them or wch ones are good?

Also will 4 bullet cams work with the sony at the same time e.g will split into 4 screens?

    Thanks Guys

    Justin

PM me your email address and i will let you know what you need.

I'm a camera engineer and we have an Aston Martin DB9R Le Manns car that we are just about to put a full record system into.

It all depends what you want, a quick recording or the full blown job.

Problem you will have is if you want to set up at 25 fps (frames per sec) which is as real time for the human eye you will only get that with your system if you use a switcher so as you can keep the frame rate as how you see it, and not charlie chaplin type and thats as long as you have a video input on your camera.

There is a lot that can be done, i'm right in the middle of looking into setting this up on a pro and budget level which will be be available as a full install. The pro side will include overlay with GPS data including G's, top speeds etc, and GPRS data transfer back to base, or the budget will be a simple record onto Mobile Platform HDD
