    Did you know the Mark II Toyota MR2 is 5.3 seconds Standard 0 - 60? That quicker than an M3 or a Monaro... Thats crazy.

    I know that many wont be running that performance due to being slightly older now but imagine those that are, or even those with mods that could increase this figure further?

    I have become a little wary of them having leanr this stat...

      @VXR_James:
      But a M3 only needs 5.2 from 0-100 km/h (0-62 miles). So it can't take more than 5.3 seconds from 0-60 mph!

        Oh ok, but still, you get the drift - they seem like quick cars that might present worry, Having said that I see the quarter mile time is 14.7 so a little slower than the VXR which I thought was around 14. I guess we catch up at higher speeds.

          another factor is the driver, if he doesn't know how to put the power out and use the gears and revs to his advantage that could really slow him down.

            also they are rear engine rear wheel drive, so they have more weight over the power wheels, where in a front wheel drive car when u put your foot down the front lifts... so no wounder they hit 60 faster than our.

              It's all about mid range if you ask me and the VXR wins there :wink:

                240 bhp
                1260 kg

                190bhp/ton

                Mid-engined, rear wheel drive.

                5.3 0-60 seems about right.
