This is my Corsa C 1.4 16V Twinport SRI

The only mods ive done so far is :-

Twinpipe pwerflow exhaust from the centre section back
          K&N Induction Kit
Tinted windows Limo black on the back and light smoke on front
          De badged the back

Its alot faster than people make out it is and are surprized when they drive it
They are a lovely car to drive, and i just pay under a £1,000 fully comp and my tax for the year is £120
and you should most def go for the SRI

hope that can be some help with your questions

my corsa C is in my DP
had a K n N panel filter a customer hazard switch and blue interior lights, basicly standard aha!!

It was a Corsa C 1.4 SRi was my first car When i passed my test. Loved it to bits handled amazingly! amazing on fuel and was fairly nippy!! would advise if you get one to get A piper cross induction kit! It also has to be an SRi mines was 1600 in insurance.

I wouldnt bother with mods if im brutally honest. Insurance will be a killer as a (new) young male driver and harsh reallity is a high % of young boys do crash in their first 2 yrs of driving so save your rmoney for your next car.

I personally drove a 1.0 12v Corsa for 2yrs before i went out and bought my first beast Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8 20vt.

                    As above.

Your going to be classed as a young and inexperienced driver, which you will be and most of all, your male which goes against us. You'll find your going to be paying out your nose for insurance and that will just be for third party, fire and theft.

If you started modding it then i would expect your insurance to double at least, thats even if they would insure you at all! Depending where you live, security on the vehicle etc i would still estimate you could be paying anything from £1,000 - £2,000, maybe more just being standard.

the corsa c exclusiv is a nice lil car. comes with leather and climate as standard and 1.4ltr engine. almost had one myself when they came out but went for a mk4 astra sxi instead.

My friends son got an 04 plate sxi and paid £4250 for it in the summer. Craig passed his test pretty much straight away and paid £1850 to insure the car fully comp. Stays in the Central Belt which is relatively cheap for insurance ! His mum also did a quote out of interest as if Craig was female and it came out at £897 for the same cover . Very unfortunate for young , male drivers .

MPS takes the edge off though !
