  • Rainex Yes or No?

Maybe this is a little dull but is there a good reason for not using this type of product?

I can drive in sheat rain on the motorway without wipers if I have applied Rainex and my speed is 60mph or over. Visibility is not impaired at all. Only problem is you can get transfixed watching the little beads of water creep up the windscreen LOL

You need to read the instructions and follow them to the letter on the first application or the results will be poo.
You need to clean the screen and then apply the stuff carefully.
I use it all the time and as the man said get over 60mph and the water just falls off the screen and, bonus you don't need to to use the wipers, especially at night,
It also gets rid of wiper marks on the screen the more you use it.
                        Love it
I think it costs about £6 but will last 6 months or so if you use it once a week

I don't use it that often. Last applied it a month ago and it's still going strong in spite of several washes later.

                          Directions:

                          Wash and dry windscreen
Apply Rainex on a dry cloth using small circular motions
                          Leave to dry
                          Apply again as before
                          Leave to dry
                          Wash over with clean water
                          Job done!

This should give you about three months protection. Don't forget to go over your mirrors as well!

Try cleaning the windscreen with some ceramic hob cleaner before applying - very effective at removing all the grease off the glass and makes the rain X application last much longer
