Probably more value as a compariosn of 2 different drivers abilities?
The best ring lap times for each car are around 30 seconds apart.

GT3 is just the stripped out Carrera (N/A) right?

the gt3 was also braking earlier for the bends and only occasionly used full power out of corners and lifted at speed, theres no way the gt3 could pull away out of corners then the megane catch mid straight, very impressed with the meg but would be killed if the gt3 driven properly,my old st3 vxr got left by a gt3 rs and i couldnt say it was close at all on the straight

eh i'm confused. i've always known the gt3 to be super car fast, theres no chance in hell that the megane would keep up with it on the straights, im at stage 2 and i am JUST pulling away from the r26r so that means i would overtake the gt3? er no

Not if you read the previous posts and the youtube description which both state that the GT3 was holding back on the straights.

Ok, don't see the point then...

But anyway, are the R26r's much faster than the megane sports?

I believe power is almost identical, its all in the weight loss, tyres and stiffening.

Err, no. GT3, GT2 and Turbo use different engines from the rest. There's lots of changes in the suspension as well.

Anyway, that's a GT3RS, which is a stripped and lightened version of the GT3.

The GT3 is not trying at all. The circuit is so big, that you really need to be trying on the straights to bang in a quick time. No battle at all.
