i had a go a few weeks ago againts a black one with a body kit on it i would not say i left him but the turbo was a big advantage

its a heavy car i think and dont think they are easy to map or tune greatly

so you only pulled away slighty?
no get about extra 20bhp on exhaust and map on them. what stage are you?

but can twin turbo them and takes them well over the 400bhp mark

nah not slightly
i pulled away no prolem but they were gaining after a few moments i was always ahead by about 6 car lenths i would say

you could look at that as smoked but dont want to start a fairytale adventure lol

i really like the 350z's. not had a play with one yet though all that seem to want to play with me are merc, audi and bmw estate drivers lol they aint a challenge!!!

350's are re-mappable but only slightly, plus it's a very new thing.

The ECU is a little tricky, it alters the air and fuelling back to standard parameters regardless of what you've modified. Only very early JDM's were un-affected by the tricky ECU.

With a re-map you'll gain maybe 8bhp but it's more about the mid-range push that's improved.

They produce circa 270-275lb.ft, they fairly torquey.

fought it was 265lb? 280bhp on earlier models isnt it. so simlar in power to mine now.
better handling?
going to put mine up for sale maybe just a pain with the private plate.

If you go by Wikipedia;

The VQ35DE produces 287bhp and 274lb.ft

The VQ35DE Rev-Up produces 300bhp and 260lb.ft

The VQ35HR prodcues 306bhp and 288lb.ft

Very good handling. Next to no body roll, grips the road very very well (depending on tyre choice). Brakes are very good.

This is all of course, in my opinion.

They take a little getting used to.

The clutch requires some skill for smooth operation and the manual gearbox is heavy so can become quite tiring 'if you're not in the mood' for it.

lol good job im quite muscly then. take one for a spin and see what i think if it cant keep up with mine im not intersted, but wasnt going to spend anymore on my car to make it any faster.
