that is your check engine light to tell you that something on engine monitoring sensors is not working right bad sensor or wiring or exhaust for emission monitoring that is the light for you will need computer scan
tool to read the fault codes from the car why the light is on the scan tool will pinpoint the area problem if

Just donloaded the Volvo 850 manual

A friend of mine has an old 850 and a light has come on the dashboard that looks like a triangle with the bottom bar missingand by the righthand bar it also has a squiggly line.

This is how it has been described does anyone have any ideas what it is???
