  • A Minute for Madeline

Please take a minute of your time for Madeleine McCann and help spread this special message around the world.
A new film has been released by the UK’s police organisation for child protection - the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre - aimed at anyone close to the person who was involved in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. That person could be a relative, friend, work colleague or neighbour. Whoever they are, they have a secret that could reveal what happened to Madeleine.
In order to reach that person, CEOP are asking for the public’s help to share this message virally, via the internet, so that the message is so widespread it becomes one click away to the person who knows something about Madeleine’s disappearance. The message is then a constant reminder that it is never too late to do the right thing, to stop keeping this secret and pass this vital information to their local police.
You can view the full message which is part of a 60 second film at http://www.ceop.police.uk/
If you are online and part of an online community, you can help. Post the link on your social networking site, email your friends and colleagues and encourage them to share the film, blog and Tweet about the film and link to the website above. Do anything you can to spread this message around the world.
The message is available at http://www.ceop.police.uk/ and is in seven different languages – English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
This initiative is supported by Leicestershire Police, Interpol, Europol and international police agencies as well as specialist charities and NGO’s such as the US National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Missing Children Europe and the UK charity Parents and Abducted Children Together (PACT).
So, please help. Take a minute for Madeleine and help share this message around the world.
    Thank you

Thanks Nicky, I received an email with details of this today and have passed it on to my friends. Can't begin to imagine the torture little Maddie's parents face every single day, not knowing what's happened to her. So sad. x

Ok, am aware that I may well get shot down for this post, but here goes....

If you can take a minute to look at that video, take half an hour and read the case files relating to Maddie. Try and find an answer for all the inconsistencies, and the LACK of evidence that points to an abduction.
Or have a look on youtube at some of the 'answers' the McCann's have given.

This is a really interesting read http://themaddiecasefiles.com/topic7.html

For the record, I don't think her parents killed her, I think they covered up a tragic accident which occured because they left their 3 young children alone in a strange apartment whilst they went out wining and dining with friends (which in itself, is appalling). I mean, they used money donated by the public, to try and find Maddie, to pay off their mortgage!! What kind of people would do that?

There are so many things that do not add up about the whole thing, and whilst I would love to believe there is still hope of finding Maddie alive, it looks so unlikely. I only hope the truth, whatever it may be, will come out one day, about what happened to that poor little girl.

I wonder how many people said the same about the girl who was found not so long ago..... she went missing for 18 years, yes the family may have been out for a meal at the side of their appartment, i dont have kids and no intention of having kids nor does mandy so to people without kids may think thats not a problem, your a stone throw away and keep going back to check.

People beleive what they want, its human to be like that, and people spreed gossip in what they beleive.
Only a few people know what has happened. The family and those (if those) have taken the child.

For me i sit on the fence, let them find their child if thats what they beleive, if it was me who was taken then i would want my parents try to find me, like im sure you would, I didnt pay any money to the fund for my own personal feelings as i prefere to give money for protection of animals, but thats my choice and for that if they did pay of there mortage then more fool to the people who paid into the pot

Maddies mum is a GP in our local practise ... take a minute to think "How would i be if that was my child?" remember theres a very much loved child out there, going through Christ knows-what, who needs our help to be found.

I've said from day 1 that they've had something to hide and if they are found out to have been involved I hope they suffer the concequencies but I do HOPE that little Maddie is alive and well.

I agree with you Kat. If that had been some junkie couple who had buggered off for a meal, leaving their 3 kids alone and the same thing had happened i believe without a doubt that they would have had the other 2 kids snatched off them by social services. Yet here we have a "respectable" couple who get all the sympathy going and people donate money to them to aid them in helping find their daughter who is missing basically cause they felt it was more important for them to go out and have a nice meal with their friends rather than spend the time with their kids

My thoughts exactly, why get the public to donate money to fund something that could have been avoided by selfish parents.
Also why have they not sold their half a million £ house to help found her search, instead of getting joe public to do it.
What gets my back up more than anything is, all the coverage they get, what about all the other children that go missing!!

Well hopefully none of would need to find out as I would suggest that the majority of people wouldn't go out to a dinner party and leave their 3 young children alone in a place they aren't used to (allegedly - we still don't know what really went on and why/who she went missing, after all)

I know that whatever anyone thinks of the parents in this situation, we all hope beyond hope that Maddie is found safe and well - it just sickens many people that this is something that could easily have been avoided if they had taken their parenting as seriously as they should have. I have zero sympathy for them - as far as I'm concerned THEY are responsible for the disappearance/perhaps death of Maddie and should be punished accordingly.

Ok i stand corrected. my empathy isnt without its down side but thankfully all my kids managed to make it despite my many parenting f***-ups and bad decisions
