  • She may not be a VXR..

But she might as well have been:

My vauxhall Calibra Turbo 4x4.. IMO the best vauxhall ever made and for good reason! (except the monaro VXR.. OMG what a beast).
With 4WD and just over 200bhp from factory a 0-60 and top speed that on paper is similar if not the same as an astra VXR.. and yes this one only cost £2200 £50 later and super unleaded shes up to 245bhp and embarassing some very expensive rides
Still no VXR badge for these ah well, no great loss

how do you get 245 from 200 with £50.00

this would make the VXR go from 237 - 282 every time i fill her up. lol

          Nice motor

sorry to drag this up but not wanting to look like a n00b

The £50 was for vmax evo2 chips, rr'd at 241bhp from the book 204PS

            not bad IMO

            edit:

            have this now instead:

            Not exactly standard

Have a massive soft spot for these rides, always wanted one and yours is a bueat! I have a feeling VX's next 4x4 may be another awesome bit of kit!!

The black one had yes and was working really well.

The new one has a locked box so running full time 4x4, purely because the power steering system has been changed enough that it wouldnt work with the stock box.
