I've already got a really good slr but I dont want to take that on holiday with me incase I lose it or damage it! Lol I saw a nice kodak one but I've only ever used cannon or nikon so how do other brands compare?

Cheers but I don't want to spend that much lol the reason behind the price is im goin on a safari so if I lose the camera or damage it then it doesnt matter too much! If I took my slr and lost that I would cry! Lol

so your going on safari and not taking your good camara! instead of buying a cheapo camara maybe spend the money on insurance, so if anything was to happen your covered.

        Corsa VXR now sold

I've got travel insurance but I could only find insurances that cover up to £1500 of goods or whatever it's called lol! The camera is worth a fair bit more! Lol

              Nice Nikon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-Coolpi...pf_rd_i=560834

              Samsung - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-ES71...7386677&sr=1-3

              Both seem good value?

If size isn't an issue then I would plump for something along the lines of a Fujifilm Finepix S1700 (available for £99 in that great photography shop, asda). As you are going on Safari, I thought the extra zoom capability over a normal compact may well be a bit better.

You'd need to get a set of 4 rechargable AA battery's but it's got a really good Zoom - I've got a slightly older model and it's a great little crossover camera.
Sold - Arden Blue Astra VXR on 19's
Ordered - Pure White Golf GTI on 18's (couldn't stomach paying for 19" tyres any more!)

as said a bridge camera like a fuji would be ideal where u can still shoot in manual and have control over your settings
