  • PC Advice needed

    Hope someone can help.

My boss bought his son a new pc, HP pavilion a6020uk, like a **** he created a password but can no longer remember what it was, so he carnt log into the system.

He has asked me if i can take a look and see if i can sort it, even if i have to do a full reboot.

Problem i have is, he has no disc's or given me any, i think the reboot is partitioned on the drive and worst for me is its bloody VISTA and i dont have a clue.

Any help would be great so i can score some brownie points with the boss

    Thanks in advance

I think HPs now have a recovery partition but I am unsure how to access it at the moment. It's probably a key you have to press during the boot up sequence.

      I'll have a look around...
