  • Warning internet explorer users

    heard on the news last night that the web browser internet explorer has been attacked by criminals to gain access to your vital info so maybe best to use a different browser till microsoft sort the problem....

    Always Preferred Firefox Myself As Long As You Have A Decent Firewall And Browser Checker Like Ie Has Phishing Filter Or Avg/mcafee Etc You Should Be Ok, Just Never Provide Your Details To Anyone Via Email Etc If Requested

      i'm using google chrome now is it different to internet explorer??

        Also worth noting that all though the flaw is present in all IE versions it's only IE7 that has been compromised on the net so far.

        Firefox FTW or Chrome seems popular although never tried it myself

          YES i personally prefer firefox anyway but its personal preference, just make sure you have decent firewall/antivirus programmes and you shall be ok oh btw make sure you run regular scans and also make sure your av is upto date and your windows service packs are upto date along with security updates (via windows update)

                Not had any issues since I swapped to Firefox over 2 years ago

                Even has a nice import facility to take your IE bookmarks over
