  • Corsa VXR Track Day Car

Vauxhall Corsa VXR Track Day Car.

I bought this car in 2016 with 67,000 miles on the clock, since when it has been developed into a very capable little track day car. It has only done another 4,000 miles in that time. Unfortunately, due to ill-health, I’ve been unable to use the car since last August, so it’s been in storage since then.

    Work done on car -
A/C delete. The compressor exploded on the first track day! Compressor and condenser removed, pipes still in place.
Full gearbox refurb by WG Motorworks, all bearings replaced.
Corsa Nurburgring Drexler LSD fitted by WG Motorworks.
Bosch 390 c.c. injectors fitted by WG Motorworks, remapped for mid-range torque.
    Corsa Nurburgring Bilstein suspension fitted.
Corsa Nurburgring exhaust & rear diffuser fitted.
Suede competition steering wheel fitted – horn does work!
    RamAir panel filter fitted.
Cam belt, battery, brake discs, lower arms & recirculation valve replaced.

Overall the condition of the car is very good, with just a few little marks. Interior condition is excellent, standard seats, trim & carpets still fitted. It comes with 5 standard VXR 17” wheels, with decent Kumho Ecsta tyres, 6mm front & 4mm rear, plus a spare Michelin. Also it will have a year’s MOT.

The car has really wanted for nothing, has always been warmed up & cooled down properly, run on super-unleaded, regularly serviced using Fuchs fully-synthetic engine and gearbox oils.

I do have new A/C compressor & condenser if required. Also available are Corsa Nurburgring Brembo front calipers, with brand new Brembo discs & Brembo Sport HP2000 pads and 4X Corsa VXR 17” alloys with Nankang NS-2R semi-slicks.

You can find a progress thread for the car here, also a bunch of in-car videos here.

Viewing is welcomed – encouraged even! If you need any more information or photos, please just ask!

    £5000 or offers.
