  • Pedal box!!!!!!

ive recently been to juicy detailing to purchase a foam lance kit when i noticed a TTrs with pedal box decals. when i asked what this "pedal box" was they told me it enhances the throttle response! i was a bit curious as my astra is stage 3 and already quite quick! it took 2 minutes to plug in (directly to the accelerator pedal) and away we went. with an array of settings you can change them to suite you and the cars ability, lets just say my car is more rapid than before! with the sport button on and off! mine was quite flat with the sport button off but now its more like a stage 2 map! and with the button on its crazy very strong and smooth! its a great bit of kit! for everyone in the northeast get your self down to try it out you will not be disapointed! and for everyone who is too far away just order one its that good!!!!!!

check there site for more info http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/...ails.php?id=15

this will work on all vauxhall cars

No power gain, simply modify/manipulate the pedal sensor output. In simple terms it reduces the amount you need to depress the throttle to get to wide open throttle. Similar idea to what the sport button does in the Astra.

Never tried one so can't comment on how useful it would be. Would probably make some motors feel more lively just depends on how the throttle map is written. Basically it would be controlling the driver input i.e. the torque demand request made by the driver.

you can get the same with a remap just ask the company to change the throttle

The system will still over write whatever a remap changes.

I'm running one on a stage 1 ttrs, and a stage 2.5 Audi s3 running 370bhp and the difference is staggering.

I don't get how this pedal box will overwrite what the remaps throttle map is. As surely you just taking the pedal postition and changing it with this box and sending it to the ECU. The ECU still has a throttle map which will respond to the output of the pedalbox.

So in theory you could have a double sport button by using max settings plus sports button

Independent bespoke mapping available see my Facebook or find me at WG Motorworks

All the box will do is manipulate the pedal position output signal, this in turn will reference the correct site for that pedal position in the ECU.

As you say does it add a % figure the the real signal or does it completely rewrite the pedal output

+1 but I can see the advantage for short people lol saves them stretching to get to full throttle lol
