  • VXR ON POLE WITH CHILTON AT BRANDS HATCH

Tom Chilton has taken pole position for tomorrow's (Sunday) opening round of the new Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch.
The 21-year-old from Reigate, driving Vauxhall's Astra Sport Hatch, achieved pole position in a time of 48.975 seconds.
"It's a great way to start my career with Vauxhall," said Chilton. "I got every corner perfect and had no cars in my way. I can't complain."
Former champions Jason Plato and James Thompson were second and third fastest in their SEAT Leons with the Team RAC MG of Colin Turkington in fourth.
But there's been a disaster for the reigning champion Matt Neal - he will have to start from the back of the grid after crashing off the track on his first qualifying when his Team Halfords Honda Integra suffered brake failure.
